Privacy Policy
Monarch Home Services Effective Date: June 15, 2026 — Last Updated: June 2026
Monarch Home Services (“Monarch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the rights you have — including your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”). It applies to information we collect through our website at monarchhomeexperts.com, by phone, in person, and in connection with the products and services we provide, including credit and financing applications.
By using our website or providing information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information. Not every category applies to every person — what we collect depends on how you interact with us.
Identifiers — name, mailing and property address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, driver’s license number, and similar identifiers.
Financial and credit information — information you provide on a credit or financing application, including income, employment, housing payment information, and the information contained in your consumer credit report.
Sensitive personal information — your Social Security number, driver’s license number, and financial/credit account information. We collect this only when you apply for financing or where otherwise necessary, and we use it only for the purposes described in Section 3.
Commercial information — the products and services you have purchased, considered, or requested from us.
Internet and network activity — when you visit our website, we automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, the website that referred you, and the pages you view, through cookies and similar technologies.
Audio information — recordings of customer service or sales calls, where permitted by law and where you are notified.
Sources of this information
We collect personal information from: (a) you directly, when you fill out a form, sign a contract or application, or communicate with us; (b) automatically, when you use our website; and (c) third parties, such as consumer reporting agencies and the finance partners who evaluate your application.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:
- To provide, schedule, and perform the home-services work you request;
- To evaluate and process your request for financing, including submitting your application to our finance partners;
- To verify your identity and prevent fraud;
- To communicate with you about your project, account, appointments, and service;
- To respond to your questions, requests, and reviews;
- To send you information about our products, services, and promotions (you may opt out of marketing at any time);
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and services;
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We use your sensitive personal information (Social Security number, driver’s license number, and financial/credit information) only to verify your identity, obtain and review your consumer credit report, process your financing request, and as otherwise permitted by law. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
3. How We Share Your Information
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the business purposes described above:
- Finance partners — independent, third-party lenders and financing platforms (which may include GreenSky, GoodLeap, Service Finance Company, and others) to whom we submit your application so you can be offered financing. Each finance partner is an independent company with its own privacy practices and is responsible for its own credit decisions and required disclosures.
- Service providers — companies that perform services on our behalf, such as scheduling, payment processing, data hosting, communications, and analytics, under contracts that require them to protect your information.
- Legal and safety — government agencies, courts, or others when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Monarch, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers — a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
4. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to provide our services, to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
5. How We Protect Your Information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your personal information. We limit access to those who need it to do their jobs. We take particular care with Social Security numbers: we do not display the full Social Security number on documents we mail to you, we do not use it as an account identifier, and we protect it in storage and transmission. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:
- Right to know / access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
- Right to delete — to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct — to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; if that ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out method.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information — because we use sensitive personal information only for purposes the CCPA permits without a limitation right, no separate “limit” link is required; we will not use it for other purposes without updating this Policy.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
